Hello..  My Name is Steve and my call is KC5TJT.  I am located just South of Tulsa Oklahoma.  I have been an amateur radio operator for about 15 years and into radios for over 30 years.  My main interests in the hobby might be different than most..  I enjoy TESTING different types of radio gear with a real passion for High Power linear amplifiers.  Life is way to short for QRP!!  I would like to brag that I have had and tested about every HP production amplifier that has been on the market over the last 20 years.  I LOVE AMPS!!  I use to do a lot of buying and selling all types of gear,  NOT for profit as much as it was just to have the opportunity to test other gear.  My passion is for the newer high tech radio gear.

Presently I am running an Icom 7800, Icom 756 Pro III http://www.icomamerica.com 2 x (MINT)  Alpha 77SX amps http://www.alpharadioproducts.com/index.asp  and an Icom 4KL, 2 sets of PowerMaster Station Monitor, VSWR & RF Power Meters http://www.arraysolutions.com/Products/powermaster.htm    an Icom 970H 2m 440 satellite radio and a TE Systems 1454G 400 watt 2 meter amplifier.  I am in the process of installing a new antenna system..  I have a Tri-Ex LM470 72 ft motorized crank up tower.  The new antennas I am installing is a Mosley Pro67B http://www.mosley-electronics.com/page%20files/amateur.htm  as well as a new Force 12 180S 75 meter rotatable dipole http://force12inc.com/  . I also just acquired a Henry 8K Ultra from Terry Gaiser W6RU I am patiently awaiting ( YA RIGHT) >
